Volbella Procedure

Before your Volbella treatment is scheduled, you’ll have an in-depth consultation with Dr. Rajagopal. The two of you will go over your goals and what facial features you wish to enhance. She will explain your options to make sure Volbella is the best solution for you.

Volbella is a smooth, soft gel, easily injectable. Since the formula already contains lidocaine, there is no need for an additional injection of anesthetic before treatment.

Because Volbella is a hyaluronic acid based gel, it is a smoother substance for fine needle injections into the lip area. However, you may feel a pinch from the fine needle used to inject.

The injection procedure lasts approximately 20 minutes, and there is no downtime.

Risks Connected With Volbella Injections?

Due to hyaluronic acid being a natural body substance, allergic reactions are rare. Although not common, post-procedural effects may include temporary bruising, numbness in small areas up to a few days following procedure.

How Long Does Volbella Last?

The length of time a hyaluronic filler, such as Volbella will last depends, in part, on the site of injection - areas with the most movement will see the filler last the least amount of time.
