Patients who have undergone a facelift report looking an average of 12 years younger after surgery, according to a study in the February issue of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery®.

Facelift Improves Quality of Life & Appearance Almost 90% of the patients surveyed said they received positive reactions from other people regarding their new appearance. 80% of patients reported improved self-esteem and 70% reported improved quality of life.

Only 2% were unhappy with the scars and only 7% reported reported negative reactions to their new appearance.
